Aloha! We have been to The West Texas Town of El Paso. We were enjoying ourselves there, so spent an extra night. It was so so windy! There were dust storms. But it was really something to look across the border into Juarez Mexico. But we stuck to shopping at the thrift stores in town. And ate lots of delicious Bar-B-Que! And peanuts! They all feed you Peanuts at the restaurants, and you throw the shells on the floor. We had a bit of trouble with that at first, then we enjoyed it. So, if we do that at your house next time we visit, you can blame Texas!
The buildings in the old part of town were fabulous. Many made into apartments, but you can tell how magnificent this city must have been in its hayday.
I would love to post some photos of them, but, forgot to take any! Just relaxed and enjoyed them.
